The primary objective of this research was to examine the nature of the relationship between smart resource management, with its dimensions (planning and optimal resource investment, using smart technologies in resource management), and the economic efficiency of housewives, with its dimensions (household budget management, expenditure rationalization, income increase), among a sample of housewives in new urban communities. The research adopted the descriptive-analytical approach to obtain results. The sample consisted of 108 newly married housewives residing in Sheikh Zayed City, administratively affiliated with Giza Governorate, as one of the new urban communities. The sample was selected using a purposive random sampling method. The research tools applied included the General Data Form for Newly Married Housewives, the Smart Resource Management Questionnaire, and the Economic Efficiency Questionnaire for Housewives—all research tools were designed by the researcher. The collected data was classified, tabulated, and analyzed using appropriate statistical techniques in the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The key findings of the study were: 1. A statistically significant positive correlation between smart resource management and economic efficiency, confirming the importance of smart planning and the use of modern technologies in improving the economic status of individuals and families.
The study presented several recommendations, the most important of which were:
. Expanding future research to study the impact of smart management techniques on improving economic efficiency in different social and cultural contexts.
