Digital Green Education in a Personal E-Learning Environment to Impart Predictive Thinking Skills, Digital Visual Culture Skills, and Increase Awareness of Green Technology for Instructional Technology Students
The current study aimed to develop the skills of designing three-dimensional animated graphics and predictive thinking and increase awareness of green technology among educational technology students by revealing the impact of digital green education in a personal electronic learning environment. The study was applied to a sample of (100) fourth-year students in the Technology Department. Education at the College of Specific Education, University of... They were divided into two experimental groups, where the first experimental group studied with a personal electronic learning environment based on situations, while the second experimental group studied with a personal electronic learning environment based on projects; An achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect, a product evaluation card, a measure of predictive thinking, a measure of awareness of green technology, and a note card to measure the skill aspect prepared by the two researchers. The experimental treatment material was an electronic learning environment based on digital green education that was prepared on the Moodle cloud platform, with two types of personal electronic environments (a personal electronic environment based on attitudes, and a personal electronic environment based on legislation). The results of the study found that there were statistically significant differences when A level of ≥(0.05) between the average scores of the students of the two experimental groups in the post-application in favor of the two experimental groups. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the post-application in favor of the two experimental groups in the predictive thinking scale; The results reached by the two researchers also showed an improvement in the degree of awareness of green technology among the students of the two experimental groups. The results also showed that the experimental group, which studied with an electronic learning environment based on situations, improved better than the second experimental group, which studied with a personal electronic learning environment based on projects.
