The Effect of a Learning Environment Based on Learning Analytics in the Creation of Electronic Tests on Test Anxiety and Academic Performance among Dental Students at Fayoum University
The aim of the current research is to reveal the effect of a learning environment based on learning analytics in building electronic tests on test anxiety and academic achievement among dental students at Fayoum University. The descriptive approach was used in the study phase to study learning analytics and the theories on which they are based. The quasi-experimental approach was used to reveal the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The research adopted the model of Muhammad Attia Khamis 2015 for designing e-learning and teaching environments. The basic research sample consisted of 60 male and female students from the second year of the Faculty of Dentistry at Fayoum University. The results resulted in a statistically significant difference at the level of ≤ (0.05) between the average scores of the students in the post-application of the test anxiety scale, and a statistically significant difference at the level of ≤ (0.05) between the average scores of the students in the post-application of the academic achievement test, and an inverse correlation. Statistically significant at the level of ≤ (0.05) between students’ scores on the test anxiety post-application and cognitive achievement.
