The research aims to provide an analytical reading of the visual text in the contemporary Egyptian wooden workpiece from the perspective of the artist's personal experience. The problem of research is shaped by the paucity of writings or scientific studies written by artists in the field of woodwork about themselves or their personal experiences and visual insights. The process of understanding and interpreting their ideas remains symbols limited to the interpretations and views of critics and viewers; This led the researcher to seek an entrance to understand the contents of some contemporary Egyptian wood works through the work of their pioneers; In order to learn the symbolic connotations and the variables they provoke, each artist retains his or her own vision and symbols that distinguish him or her from other artists and their impact on enriching the field of wood works technically and aesthetically. The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach to provide a visual analytical reading of selected wooden works of some contemporary Egyptian timber artists to see the aesthetic effect of the symbol's specificity in understanding the intellectual and philosophical content of building their wood works.
