The Effectiveness of Employing Second- Generation Web Tools to Develop Clothing Appreciation of University Students

Abstract

    In this advanced era, clothes have become a manifestation of culture and civilization, and one of the distinguishing signs of the individual's personality, as the appropriate clothes help in social acceptance and self-respect and give self-confidence , as university researchers have observed recently that some people’s choices of their outfit are not proportional to their body dimensions, especially university students, which sometimes leads to the appearance of their body defects, which exposes them to criticism from others, hence the idea of ​​researching a website that allows the possibility of identifying the shape of the body and choosing clothes suitable for both sexes from university students. It was applied to a group of Zagazig University students to measure its effectiveness in developing their touch superiority. The research aims to provide diverse and documented information for both sexes about clothes suitable for different body shapes through a website created by the two researchers, The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach and the experimental approach, and the study concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the pre and post application of the website for development of touch superiority in favor of the post application, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the pre and post application of the achievement test in favor of post application. The presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students' job performance and the website in the pre and post application in favor of post application, and students' opinions about the website were positive.
