Popular fashion for Southern Sudanese tribes and innovation for contemporary fashion design

The study aimed to: study the popular fashion of Southern Sudan tribes of to register part of their folklore, and identify some of the general features that characterize the popular costume of some of their tribes, with the implementation of designs and quotations of those costumes with contemporary nature.
The importance of studying: Preserving folk costume of some inspiration from Southern Sudan tribes before they disappear as a result of the factors of development and the formation of scientific knowledge in the field of popular costumes, which is still suffering from a shortage in the field of study, while studying the customs and traditions and popular beliefs and their association with popular fashion in the study area, Used in jewelry and adornment methods for some southern Sudan tribes.
The most important results of the study were:  applied dress designs derived from the popular costumes of the women and men of some tribes in Southern Sudan and presented to the sample of the study to know their opinions towards them. The result was that their trends are positive towards the designs, and there were statistically significant differences between the designs based on the sample opinions, The frequencies and percentages of each design were calculated to determine the order of the designs and the best (10) designs were selected according to their opinions.
Recommendations of the study: take advantage of popular costumes and jewelry in the design of contemporary furniture. And doing more studies of popular fashion and jewelry in other areas in Sudan.
